Alicia Rodriguez
Alicia, who grew up in Llano Grande, was influenced at an early age by her curandera aunt. On her own, Alicia discovered her natural affinity for plants and healing. She is a master herbalist who cooks with medicinal herbs and specializes in intuitive healing and energy work. Alicia also leads plant walks and guided trips to Chacala.

Santiago Cruz Diaz
Santiago grew up in El Tuito, a small agricultural village south of Puerto Vallarta. At an altitude of about 2400 feet, El Tuito is in an area of pine and oak forests and is famous for raicilla, an agave-based moonshine. Santiago was taught plant medicine by his grandfather and has been a practicing curandero in the area for about 40 years.

Bethany Staffieri
Bethany is a certified herbalist, permaculture consultant, naturalist, teacher and an artist. She has worked with plants most of her adult life: first as a floral designer, and, for the past 7 years, as an herbalist. She teaches in her community in Northern California, as well as, with concentric rings™. Bethany has traveled extensively in South America adding to her plant knowledge.
