Detoxification occurs naturally in the body. Our workshop is developed to assist and support you as your body experiences the purification and detoxification process.

Using the concept that food is medicine and how that promotes longevity and health. The workshop diet will primarily consist of delicious local vegatables, fruits, chicken, fish, seafood and herbs. Vegitarian, vegan, wheat free and other ditary needs can be accomodated.

Mango

The flesh of a ripe mango contains about 15% sugar, up to 1% protein, and significant amounts of vitamins A,B and C.

Guava


The roots, bark, leaves and immature fruits, are astringent and therefore , commonly employed to halt gastroenteritis, diarrhea and dysentery, throughout the tropics. Crushed leaves are applied on wounds, ulcers and rheumatic places, and leaves are chewed to relieve toothache. Leaf decoctions are taken as remedies for coughs, throat and chest ailments, gargled to relieve oral ulcers and inflamed gums.

Copomo

Copomo is a popular coffee substitute. The seed pod that is roasted, ground and prepared in the same way as coffee . Green seeds are also ground and used as flour for baking. Nutritionally high in protein and bioflavonoids

Chaya

This plant is locally used in the prevention of cancer.

Rich in Beta-Carotene / vitamin A, Chaya helps reduce free radical damage to the immune system. Following a healthy diet that is high in fresh fruits and vegetables, like Chaya ,will build up the body’s supply of cellular antioxidants.
